Funeralocity.com CEO raises awareness about FEMA resources for grieving families
November 3, 2021 – Retirement Living Sourcebook, Funeralocity.com founder Ed Michael Reggie, an advocate fighting for transparency for consumers, spoke to Retirement Living Sourcebook and shared important tips for Americans applying for the FEMA funeral reimbursement program, which is refunding qualifying families up to $9,000 in funeral costs related to COVID. He is hoping to spread the word to thousands of families who may not know of this benefit available. Families must take the initiative by contacting FEMA to begin the claim process, Reggie said.
