Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation Services

I'm reviewing this place in case it helps someone in their hour of need. My own family's hour of need came very suddenly. We aren't the sort of people who pre-arrange these things. We never wanted to really think about it. An elderly loved one passed away after a short stay in at-home hospice. I called around to maybe seven or eight places in metro Atlanta, all of which (other than Georgia Funeral Care) were well known locally or came recommended by word of mouth. ALL these other places charged stunningly high fees. I found Georgia Funeral Care on the web. They were the kindest, most professional, and--because finances are important, this isn't a concern you can overlook--they were actually the most affordable of all the places I contacted. We recommend them without reservation.

*****This place was extremely helpful for my family and I. We found them , by looking up camouflage urns to purchase. They told me a very affordable price for the urn. When I arrived, the director Kevin greeted my mother and I. He escorted us to the vast selection of urns. I asked him about their funeral services with cremation. He quoted us a price 1500 cheaper then all of the other funeral homes that we contacted. He was also able to do all the services needed for the funeral with cremation in less than 24 hours. In this time of pain and heartache, Georgia Funeral Care gave us PEACE.

Anthony 7 months ago- Kevin and his staff are awesome! My family and I cannot thank him enough for the services they provided. With a limited budget and a short amount of time, Kevin and his staff prepared a beautiful service and transportation to my father's final resting place at the Veterans National Cemetery in Canton, GA(about 45 minutes from the funeral home). We were also pleasantly surprised that instead of a traditional hearse, they transported my father in a converted Chevy Suburban which looked very nice. Kevin also walked us through step by step of everything that was to come and kept us well informed about all procedures to follow. Very professional and we highly recommend their services. Georgia Funeral Service was amazing from the first phone call. Can't possibly say enough about Georgia Funeral Care. Associate came to the home to assist in making arrangements, which was amazing because I was caring for the loved one at the time. The care and compassion shown by Georgia Funeral Service made very difficult decisions as easy as they could and I will forever be grateful for the care given to me as well as my loved one.
