My family would like to thank Bill Nicholas, of Nicholas Funeral Home, for the exemplary service he provided to me and my family during this difficult time of grieving in the loss of our father, Richard D. Marino. I live in California so the planning and travel time was short, but Bill made the process so smooth and flawless that it took the stress off of me and my family in planning the funeral. He goes above and beyond what you ask and showed so much compassion, care and respect in the memorial services for my father. He is a dedicated, true professional with high standards of integrity in how he conducts business but most importantly in how he treated me and my family. I know he may be considered the "new" guy in town but he should be the "only" guy in town that you go to in times of sorrow and sympathy. Thank you again for EVERYTHING!

Losing a loved one is such an emotional and devastating experience. A year and a half ago I lost my dad. When I knew that time was approaching, I contacted Bill Nicholas. He was immediately responsive and accommodating and came to visit me in the comfort of my own home. He helped to ease my fears and pain and pre-plan and make arrangements at that time for both of my parents. There are no words to describe the compassion, empathy, attention to detail and heart-felt care he put forth in that process. The options and possibilities were endless, able to be individualized, were reasonably priced and so accommodating. When my dad passed away shortly afterwards, he provided exactly what we had planned and requested, and was in frequent contact throughout that time to make sure every detail, last minute change and request we had was attended to. I couldn’t have been happier or more comforted during that difficult time. My mother has now also passed. Not only did Bill put forth the same time, effort and attention to detail but he surpassed my every expectation. My mom was very sick and did not even look like herself at the time of her passing. When I entered the viewing room at Nicholas Funeral Home, I wept in comfort and relief to find my mother looking exactly like herself and absolutely beautiful and natural looking! It was as if Bill helped to erase all of the pain and suffering she went through over the past several months and left us with everlasting visual memories of her in peace and comfort. He did a phenomenal job, and arranged and provided the most intimate and personalized service that was a tribute to my mother beyond my dreams and expectations. Bill Nicholas is patient, honest, accommodating and professional and treated my loved ones any myself with dignity and respect. I whole heartedly recommend Nicholas Funeral Home and would rate Bill Nicholas and his business with five stars!

What a lovely job Nicholas Funeral Home did for both of my parents. First for my father, then just recently for my mother. Bill was spot on and created the most beautiful visitation experience that was a true reflection of my parent’s lives both times. He is genuine, truthful and was such a God send at such difficult times in my life. He even allowed my mother’s pet bird to be there with us. I will be eternally grateful for the experiences I had with Nicholas Funeral Home.
